Generator’s UK-wide Talent Development programme, The Tipping Point, has released Bryde’s ‘EP2’ and Jake Houlsby’s new single ‘Bloom’.
Following the announcement of Bryde’s lead track ‘Honey’ from EP2 in late September it has been supported by Huw Stephens on BBC Radio 1 and The Line of Best Fit while second single ‘Wouldn’t That Make You Feel Good?’ was premiered on US site Consequence of Sound and featured as a recent Sunday Times ‘Hottest Tracks of The Week’ who had this to say ‘Feral guitar, torn-from-the-chest lyrics: Sarah Howell’s new track is sensational’.

The Tipping Point are also pleased to announce the brand new single ‘Bloom’ from Newcastle singer-songwriter Jake Houlsby, recently described by BBC 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne as “sublime,” this is the much-anticipated follow-up to ‘Carousel’.
Inspired by the likes of Sufjan Stevens and Fleet Foxes, Houlsby is becoming a master at weaving haunting soundscapes, with his affecting vocals and intricate guitar melodies. ‘Bloom’ builds on that foundation, masterfully towing the line between being atmospherically wintery and invitingly warm.
The single was premiered by Spindle last month and can be heard here,
