Sound City will be showcasing seven British artists at Zandari Festa and MU:CON 2016 in Seoul this October.
Zandari Festa, South Korea’s largest music showcase festival, takes place in Hongdae, the epicenter for youth culture in Seoul. MU:CON is one the largest music conference & global music showcases in Asia.
The same initiative in 2015 resulted in artists receiving incredible responses from audiences and industry alike with Yorkshire act Fizzy Blood signing a Korean label deal with Love Rock Company which will now see their material marketed and released across Korea and wider Asian territories.
Building on the success of 2015, this year Sound City will showcase some of the most exciting new British artists including Coquin Migale and She Drew The Gun who have both featured at Generator’s Evolution Emerging Festival along with Atlas Wynd, I Set The Sea On Fire,Sugarmen, Elle Exxe and Shakka.
Sound City’s South Korean showcase event received an incredible number of applications this year which were carefully reviewed by leading music organisations PRSF, Generator, DMF Digital,BIMM, PledgeMusic, Sentric Music and Liverpool International Music Festival.
