NBS Appoints Senior Software Developer

NBS, the leading global provider of technical information, specification and BIM tools to construction industry professionals has appointed a new Senior Software Developer, as it continues to expand its team.

David Glass will be responsible for building and maintaining NBS’ high quality software products and services and will provide guidance and technical direction to other development team members.

This role is critical in enabling NBS to continue to deliver responsive, robust and secure software products that satisfy customer needs.

David joins NBS from Shout Digital and brings over 15 years’ experience in the IT industry covering many aspects across full stack development, leadership, mentoring, project planning and DevOps.

Before Shout Digital he spent 13 years at Vianet Plc, where he worked his way up from Software Engineer to Senior Development Manager. Here he managed a team of developers across the UK and Europe and was a lead developer in creating a vending and coffee platform.

“I’m looking forward to working and collaborating with the team on new projects.”

The use of cloud technology, ensures that those using the new platform have the latest software and global content at all times, improving collaboration and efficiencies across whole teams.
