Sunderland Marketing Agency Appoints New Senior Market Researcher
Sunderland-based strategic marketing agency, MMC, has announced the appointment of a senior market researcher to head up the agency’s new market research division.
Dr Kirsty Laing will deliver qualitative and quantitative research that will help underpin the marketing strategies MMC produces for clients. She will also be running stand-alone research projects using various methodologies including focus groups, interviews, ethnography and surveys.
Kirsty has as over 14 years’ experience as a researcher, having spent the majority of her career in the health sector through her time within the Institute of Health and Society at Newcastle University.
She said: “The power of market research comes from overcoming the danger of presumption. I’m excited to use my experience to help MMC clients understand how research can grow their businesses and improve their campaigns. Research doesn’t have to be huge mass surveys, and I’m looking forward to helping businesses see the powerful insights you can get from techniques such as focus groups and ethnography too.”
