W North Shortlisted As Top North East PR Agency

Newcastle-based PR and communications agency, W North has been shortlisted for four awards at the upcoming CIPR North East Awards, including the region’s outstanding agency gong.

The agency, which was only launched in May last year as part of London agency W Communications UK expansion, is the sole agency shortlisted for the biggest award of the night.

In addition, W North has also been shortlisted in both the Best Event and the Best Consumer Relations campaign for its work for art supplies brand Reeves. It has also been shortlisted for its work on Australian wine brand McGuigan in the Best Use of Media Relations category.

Head of W North, Christian Cerisola, said: “We’ve come a long way in a short space of time. We’ve grown a brilliant, hungry and skilled team, and are building a diverse client base by producing meaningful and measurable results for them.

“There are some fantastically talented agencies in this region, so we’re thrilled to be considered by our peers at the CIPR to be among them already. We’ve got a long way to go but we couldn’t be more proud of the progress we’ve made in the last 15 months.”

W North works with a diverse client base, which includes regional operators such as Traidcraft, Lane7 and Cycle Expo Yorkshire, and national and international brands such as Hellman’s, McGuigan Wines and PG tips in partnership with its parent agency, W Communications.
