THE VRYLL SOCIETY

With the track ‘Beautiful Faces’, Liverpool-based The Vryll Society have successfully woven Pink Floyd ambience with the sad tension of Echo and the Bunnymen.

This is not a track for rocking out, running, or crying; this is for sitting back and listening.

Elegant swathes of ambient sound make this a song that pulls the listener from one moment to the next from a relaxed melody into an edgy, wailing wave of vocals and guitar.

High pitched, heavily echoed vocals recall 80’s new wave, with funky, almost psychedelic instrumentals that teeter on the edge of becoming a full-on jam, but they’re kept rigidly on track with an uncompromising drumbeat.

Lose yourself in this unique, dreamy tune.
