Wow. The beautiful Charlotte O’Connor has provided us with an absolute powerhouse. ‘Colour My Heart’, a haunting celebration of decadence, is one of the most violently emotive songs I have heard this year. Amazing production, complimented firstly by the evocative chords of the piano ringing out in terror, and of course the mesmerising voice – a darkly enchanting voice that peaks during the chorus.

This masterpiece has already achieved Radio 1 airtime, as well as being labelled Zane Lowe’s Next Hype – true recognition of the potential and quality of the song. If my word isn’t enough for you, then trust Zane, and if his word isn’t enough, then I really don’t know what is. Have a gander yourself. Just Wow.
