North London siblings Jane, Cat and Ruth Edmondson, aka Jagaara, uploaded a couple of new demo tracks recently; ‘In The Night’ and ‘Faultline’. Both are picking up plenty of fans across radio and the blogs, but it’s the latter song we’re looking at today. ‘Faultline’ is devilishly smooth and sparse, with the instrumentation allowed plenty of breathing space underneath Jane’s lush, brooding vocal. The track’s pristine studio production means that guitars, vocals and rhythm section blend in to one another with ease, giving way to this wonderfully warm, 80’s inspired moody pop song.
