JUCE

This week has seen an upturn in the hitherto miserable British weather, and has had many hoping that Summer is finally on its way. If the recent sunshine has had you, like most, prematurely sporting shorts and Ray Bans you’re going to thoroughly enjoy the first offering from London trio Juce.

‘Call You Out’ is an infectiously upbeat number that puts a fresh, summery spin on Funk. Despite it’s timeless Jazz guitars, there is something about the lead vocal, corresponding harmonies and bassline that screams Nineties Girl Band Pop, but in the best way possible. The general vibe isn’t too far-removed from the kind of music Jungle have been putting out of late, if you sent them on a Summer holiday, with Haim. If ‘Call You Out’ is anything to go by, we’ll be hearing a lot more from the three girls from London in the very near future.
