ALBERT GOLD

Hackney vocalist Albert Gold releases ‘Into The Wild’, alongside a set of visuals created on a shoestring budget in the seaside town of Felixstowe.

Critics are comparing Gold’s feel-good style to the likes of Luther Vandross, but despite the 90’s Hip Hop-influenced percussion there’s nothing ‘throwback’ about ‘Into The Wild’.

It’s an inch-perfect modern pop song, driven as much by the smooth piano refrain as much as it is by Gold’s free and easy vocal style. Saying that, listening to the track is likely to prompt an all-consuming urge to put on The Lighthouse Family – make of that what you will.

The track will be officially re-released via London Indie label Fierce Panda on March 16th as part of their singles ‘project’, so get involved early and stream this infectious slice of Soul-Pop now via YouTube.

Albert Gold will also be performing as part of our next The Tipping Point showcase event at the Sebright Arms in London on Wednesday 22nd April. Tickets are available here.
