APRIL TOWERS

Hailing from Nottingham, April Towers have progressed through a steady yet building momentum, first hitting the blogosphere in August of last year with their debut demo ‘Tel Aviv‘. What followed was a series of increasingly developed demos, before the band reached a point of realisation earlier this year in which they consolidated their energies to work on their debut single ‘Arcadia‘. Bringing together all of April Tower’s strongest qualities, ‘Arcadia‘ is a strong statement of intent from the electronic duo of their aspirations for 2015.

Stemming influences from the likes of Moby and Pet Shop Boys, through to The Lightning Seeds and the radio friendly qualities of Bastille. April Towers have reached a sound in ‘Arcadia‘ that immediately strikes of the anthemic. Clean, crips vocals are matched by imposing percussion, all weaved within infectious melodies that make it near impossible not to return for a repeat listen. Make sure to keep your watchful musical eyes on AT as they head into the new year.
