Taken from their forthcoming four track debut EP which Generator are releasing in conjunction with the band’s own Carmel Records, Sheffield’s Blessa have revealed ‘Unfurl’. The debut EP, titled ‘Love Is An Evol Word’, was produced by MJ (Meance Beach, Hookworms) at Suburban Homes Studios in Leeds and will be released on June 23.

‘Unfurl’ flaunts Blessa’s knack for penning hazy indie pop in the same vein as The Sundays and Fear Of Men, as Olivia Neller’s beautiful vocal floats atop the mix and washes over bright, shimmering guitars and a sturdy bass line. The song’s selling point however lies in the dynamic of sparse, simple verses combined with a busy, brilliantly repetitive chorus.
