OLYMPIA

Despite there not being any other links on the band’s SoundCloud, and having a rather Google-unfriendly name (‘Olympia band’ brings up an array of curiously strange results), this band’s vivid sound is screaming to be heard. This is a blessing though, really. It allows us to take the music for exactly what it is – no contexts, no overbearing marketing, no cheesy gimmicks, nuttin’.

It’s just insanely good songwriting. It’s music for fans of big pop like MGMT, Foster the People and Empire of the Sun, whilst still maintaining a coolness and credibility that will gain them a substantial buzz on the blogs. Not much is known about Olympia right now… but it will be soon.
