Rhodes started as one-man bedroom project from Hitchin, UK – but following the two breathtaking demos posted on Soundcloud of late, things are starting to get a little more serious. The most recent of the two tracks is ‘Always’; and it’s a heartfelt song that whispers with gentle guitar and overwhelms with layered vocals.
Still surrounded by mystery and fresh from performances at Dot to Dot festival, Rhodes utilises a soothing, lullaby-like quality here; finding a delicate balance of fine musicianship and personal lyrics.
