SEGA BODEGA

Glaswegian producer Sega Bodega, real name Salvador Navarrete, has been getting all the right people talking about his latest track, ‘Konerak’, which comes from his forthcoming ‘34’ EP.

The track itself is an atmospheric salute to his fellow Scots Rustie and Hudson Mohawke, and it cleverly combines the use of frantic glitching and emotional piano as a springboard to launch into a pitched-down vocal melee.

When the chaos dies down the track is beautifully delicate, and Sega shows he has the ability to produce both stomping and chilled tracks with ease.

Konerak’ has already been featured on Data Transmission and The Fader, and it’s for sure that music listeners will be eagerly awaiting the release of the ‘34’ EP via independent London label Week of Wonders on April 1.
