Belfast’s UNKNWN is the latest producer to be signed to Ben Pearce’s blossoming Purp & Soul label, and his latest track is the compelling ‘Tucker’.

The track has been given away as part of BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac’s popular ‘Free Music Monday’ feature on her SoundCloud page, and comes courtesy of Champion Sound Music.

‘Tucker’ features a skittering, bouncy garage-esque rhythm that makes for an infectious dark vibe throughout, as the track deviates through sub-bass rumblings, crackly synths and wonderfully distorted claps. UNKNWN has also got the nod from John Talabot, so keep an eye out for him in 2014 as he’s set to do big things.
