UX and service design consultant, Helena Hill, recently celebrated one year trading as Helena Hill Consulting.
Previously a website developer, Helena made the decision to move into full time user experience consulting and mentoring after spending six months gradually moving the business to where it is now.
‘The last twelve months have been the best of my career so far’, says Helena.
‘With the support of my network I’ve worked with so many exciting start-ups and SMEs through the Supply Chain North East Programme, Northumbria University and Newcastle University. I’ve also been selected by a number of corporate organisations to deliver UX consultancy to their own digital, technology and product design teams.’
Over the last six months Helena has been increasingly in demand for service design consultancy, helping companies consider the journey that customers take from the moment they become aware of an organisation through decision making, purchase to advocacy.
‘Switched on businesses recognise that in the age of the customer the status quo is no longer good enough. Customers now choose based the buying experience and customer service as well as price’, says Helena.
