The Production Skills Residency, taking place on Monday 25th November-Thursday 28th November, is a fully funded music production course aimed at intermediate songwriters and musicians (aged 18-25) looking to improve their knowledge and skills of recording, producing and mixing music.
Held at the prolific Blast Studios in Newcastle’s Ouseburn Valley, ten participants will spend four days in the studio getting their hands dirty in creative processes and workflows of a professional studios, looking at mic-ing techniques and hardware and understanding the key roles of (and differences between) a Producer, an Engineer & a Mixer.
