Business Support Manager

Part time (21 hours per week, 3 days)

£25,000  pro rata

We are looking for a Business Support Manager to join the Generator team!

Generator currently deliver business support programmes centred around digital adoption and digital transformation for SMEs across the North East and we need a Business Support Manager to help us deliver these programmes, identify new opportunities for promoting enterprise and build relationships across the creative and digital sectors in the region. Now is an exciting time to start this role, as we continue to work with partners on the Supply Chain North East programme, as well as beginning our new business support programme, Digital Pathfinders, across the North of Tyne region.

Our Business Support Manager will be an excellent communicator and team player, be able to build meaningful relationships with businesses and organisations across the region and have a flare for engaging businesses with innovative and impactful business support programmes. They will be able to manage their time well, be full of ideas and able to bring those to life through events, build a good understanding of key audiences and can seek out new ways to support the creative and digital sectors Generator serves.

Supply Chain North East will see four key partners joining forces to work with over 800 businesses between 2018-2021 supporting businesses to identify opportunities in new and existing markets. An integral part of the North East Growth Hub, Supply Chain North East will be delivered across the region by RTC North, Generator, North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA) and North East Process Industry Cluster (NEPIC). Supply Chain North East is receiving up to £3,148,514 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
