We’re looking for an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to help drive Generator’s brand and projects forward.
This is a hands-on role for someone who knows how to plan and deliver impactful campaigns, create engaging content, and manage digital channels with confidence. You’ll work closely with artists, partners, and our brilliant team to showcase the incredible talent and creative work happening across the North’s music and cultural industries.
We’re looking for someone who’s already worked in a busy marketing and communications environment, who’s skilled at juggling multiple projects and deadlines, and who can keep everything on-brand, on-message, and delivered to a high standard. From social posts and press releases to event coverage and creative storytelling, you’ll play a vital part in making Generator’s voice heard.

Generator is in the final year of delivery for the Skills for Music and Performing Arts Professionals and Technicians project, funded by the North East Combined Authority (previously North of Tyne Combined Authority). This project supports skills development for music professionals and technical roles in the performing arts across the North East.
We are seeking to procure an experienced and independent External Evaluator to assess the impact and effectiveness of the project. The evaluation will help us understand the outcomes achieved, lessons learned, and recommendations for future delivery.

Sonic Futures is a major multi-million-pound initiative funded by Tees Valley Combined Authority and Arts Council England, designed to build a thriving, sustainable music scene across Tees Valley. Delivered by Generator and Tees Music Alliance, the project includes dedicated funding for T ees Valley-based bands and artists to develop their careers, alongside support for music education and plans to grow the region’s festival landscape.
Working across Generator’s project strands, the ideal candidate will bring coordination and/or project management experience, excellent organisational and multitasking skills, and a genuine passion for both the music industry and the Tees Valley region.
