Transgressive Records were named Independent Label of the Year at the 2015 AIM Awards, while Erased Tape Records was named Best Small Label at the event held at The Brewery venue.

Wolf Alice received Independent Breakthrough of the Year award and Young Fathers collected Best Difficult Second Album for ‘White Men Are Black Men Too’. Swans were honoured as the hardest Working Band, with singer Michael Gira delivering a surreal pre-recorded video acceptance speech wearing a mask and referring to Amazon warehouse workers.

FKA Twigs was awarded Independent Track of The Year for Two Weeks and Flying Lotus was recognised with Independent Video of The Year for Never Catch Me, also delivering an outstanding video speech featuring a very drunk Flying Lotus (aka Steven Ellison) and his dog.
