Finance & Admin Vacancy

Creative Digital and Music development agency, Generator, is looking for a forward thinking and progressive individual to provide comprehensive financial and administrative support to Generator’s entire programme and staff. The post holder will coordinate all Generator’s monitoring functions pertaining to funders and internal requirements, including compliance, client records and reporting.

Salary: £23,000 – £27,000 dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Job Status: Fixed-term 2 year contract.
The position will be based at the Generator office in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Generator’s programmes fall into 2 distinct areas. The Digital Futures programme provides specialist business support for creative and digital SMEs through an integrated programme of activity covering the whole of the North East Local Enterprise Area. As this is funded through European Regional Development Funding we will require the post holder to have experience of collating outputs, managing financial claims and ensuring compliance over areas such as procurement is met.

This programme is due to complete in December 2018 so we are looking for a bright individual who is also able to support the team through the development of new initiatives, partnerships, and market opportunities.

Affiliated to this programme Generator also run Digital Union the North East’s largest network of Creative and Digital Businesses.

The second area of Music Industry Artist and Talent Development falls under the Tipping Point banner. This programme assists music businesses and artists to navigate the music industry and offers support through master classes and live event opportunities including Generator’s annual micro festival – Evolution Emerging.

The Tipping Point programme also progresses up to 4 artists per year through an intense 12-month development programme which includes recording and publishing agreements.
