Labour Intensive

The Labour Party has announced plans to stage a one-day festival in London this summer, with Rae Morris, The Magic Numbers and Jermain Jackman set to play.

Presumably building on the popularity of Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn’s appearance at Glastonbury and various other music events last year, the festival will take place at the White Hart Lane recreation ground in Tottenham, North London on June 16th.

Corbyn will of course give a speech and MPs John McDonnell and Kate Osamor will also be among the speakers, while Morris, The Magic Numbers and The Voice winner Jackman are the only musical acts to be announced so far. The posters for the event, which is on-sale now, are unlikely to feature Jeremy Corbyn in a hat that has been photoshopped.
