THE MYSTERINES
Who are The Mysterines? With no official release under their belts and only a few fan-filmed video clips circulating on social media, the mysteriously illusive Liverpool trio have been creating quite a buzz thanks to explosive sets supporting the likes of Miles Kane, The Big Moon and The Coral. With rumours of a debut single coming in the autumn, it won’t be long before we know all about The Mysterines.

ROE
Describing herself as ‘A 19 year old multi-instrumentalist grump’, emerging Northern Irish alt-pop act Roe has already performed at Glastonbury and The Great Escape and counts the BBC Introducing team among her biggest fans. If recent single Wasted.Patient.Thinking is anything to go by, she’s not going to be short of many more fans in the future…
TALL TALKER
Math-rock? Prog-pop? Experimental-instrumental? You tell me, but Tall Talker’s debut single ‘Geno’ is a brilliant statement of intent from the Leeds via Teesside trio. Released through Middlesbrough’s Sad For Life Records, Tall Talker’s groove driven melodic complexity shares similarities with acts such as TTNG, Toe and Don Caballero – so it’s no surprise to see them supporting TTNG at their upcoming sold-out London Garage show.
JOSEPH HAMMILL
Best known for his band Cattle & Cane and co-writes with Lucy Spraggan, Alice on the Roof and Tessa Dixson, Joseph’s solo project sees him call upon his more ‘folky’ influences and explore his regional routes. The lyrics to his debut solo single ‘Infant Hercules’ feature on this season’s Middlesbrough FC shirts and new single ‘I Am Yours’ is a love letter to the beautiful North Yorkshire seaside town of Saltburn. With his first solo headline show (at The Georgian Theatre in Stockton) already a sell-out, it’s going to be interesting to see where Hammill takes this next.
