CURB

Having toured with Twin Peaks, Kult Country and Darlia (just to name a few), Birmingham-based rock trio Curb have been gradually building a steady fan base on the back of their highly energetic live shows for some time, ramping up the anticipation for their first proper physical release.

Though details of their forthcoming EP have yet to be announced, the band have teased the upcoming release with ‘Outside’, their first new music in nearly six months.

‘Outside’ is your typically angsty rock’n’roll explosion, with tortured lyrics accompanied by silky-smooth vocals from frontman Tom O’Ryan, underlying harmonies and blistering riffage.

Infused with an element of psych rock (the panning guitar fuzz that closes the end of the track reverberates through your mind), Curb have undoubtedly refined their sound into a glossier product that’s nevertheless feral and filled with an underlying sense of anarchic fervour.
