EAT FAST

If you like your indie rock buried under a thick blanket of distortion deemed excessive by even normal garage rock standards, then ‘Public Display of Affection’, the latest single from North East quartet EAT FAST should be next on your playlist.

Sometimes I find heavy distortion can be used as a way to make an average track seem interesting, but with killer hooks, melody and vocal harmonies fighting for pole position across a raging sea of distortion, the band have taken seemingly disparate musical elements and created something quite compelling that just gets better with every spin.
