The ultimate way to kick-start Generator Live Festival - our 2023 conference is back.
We’ll be taking over the stunning Common Rooms of the Great North for a full day of inspiring talks, panels and workshops designed to support artists and creatives in navigating the music industry.
Taking place the day before our all dayer at Boiler Shop and electronic stage at World Headquarters, Generator Live Conference will bring together industry leaders, experts and grassroots music champions who will cover a wide range of topics from mental health in music through to touring advice and sustainable incomes.
Generator Live conference will also provide an opportunity for you to get your music in front of industry experts as well as bespoke sessions spanning all music communities from underground DIY to electronic to commercial. Alongside the sessions, there’ll be plenty of opportunities to connect with other delegates including in our Signature Brew Green Room, where our friends at Press On Vinyl will host informal drop in advice sessions paired with a delicious selection of Signature Brew beers. The conference will also showcase all things Generator – from our creative and cultural network Generator Union to our groundbreaking skills training for the live music & performance sector.
If you’re an established artist, creative, manager or simply someone with an interest in music with a desire to forge a career in the industry, Generator Live Conference will provide you with tips, advice and guidance to progress your career in music.
Our conference will provide a platform for all aspects of the Generator creative community to come together and show the strength in the North East music industry, form connections and drive the industry forward.
This is a free event, but due to limited space, you must register for a free ticket.
It’s important to us at Generator that we keep the majority of our events free and accessible, so that everyone can attend.
We are currently experiencing a high number of no-shows for our free events however, so to mitigate the impact this is having and to ensure everyone who can attend gets a ticket, we will be releasing tickets in smaller batches, and releasing more tickets when they become available because of returns or cancellations. If you miss out on a ticket during this wave, join the waiting list and you’ll be automatically notified when a ticket becomes available.
