The annual summer-long free South Tyneside Festival kicks off in June with our fantastic Live Music at the Amphitheatre events. This event is brought to you by South Tyneside Council as part of This is South Tyneside Festival summer programme. The programme is supported by Metro Radio, Greatest Hits Radio and sponsored by Colmans Seafood Temple, Colmans Fish and Chips, Minchella & Co, Ocean Beach Pleasure Park, Port of Tyne, Ramside Hall and South Tyneside Homes.

Jamilah is the sound that you never knew you needed. Hailing from Northern England, the singer-songwriter not only delivers from the heart, with soul and passion, she delivers so much more, as is shown by her numerous accolades to date. Having garnered support across a number of BBC Radio platform’s and Capital Xtra, Jamilah was picked as one of BBC Introducing’s ’10 Tips for 2020’, single, After 10 picked as BBC 1xtra’s #TrackOfTheWeek & Jamilah has been chosen to represent her city on the Newcastle leg of Radio Heavyweight DJ Aces #EverythingRnB tour! Specialising in Soul and R&B. Jamilah has collaborated with the like’s of Alex Opal, been lauded over by Craig Charles, and has supported superstars of the calibre of Nelly, Tinie Tempah, & Jocelyn Brown among others. Starting 2022 on a high, Jamilah’s last release Not My Only samples the classic melody of Michael Jackson ‘Human Nature’ & takes us on a musical throwback with a fresh twist. It’s a summer anthem that is feel good and tongue & cheek. Jamilah’s debut single SOS drops this month and is bringing with it sultry RnB vibes! Ready to finish the year with a bang!
Cam Iyell is an independent singer/songwriter born in the South of France and raised in the North-East of England. With influences from his African and South American heritage, Cam Iyell’s music creates a blend of different musical genres such as Afro-Fusion, R&B, and Pop. Cam has been producing and writing music in his studio at Newcastle Upon Tyne
