Into the Music Industry

A day of interactive panels and workshop activities on pathways into the music industry, led by some of the UK's leading figures in music.

We’re incredibly excited to bring together some of the biggest industry minds on a series of interactive panels, open discussions and workshops to help breakdown barriers for those looking to form a career in music.

Generator, Warner Music UK and Rio Ferdinand Foundation, alongside partner’s Kiss, Newcastle College and Zenith Training will deliver a fantastic opportunity for those currently in education studying music, performing arts or technical skills, or those looking for a shift in career direction within the industry.

Activity throughout the day include workshops on technical skills in the live sector, panels covering A&R, communication and marketing strategies with some of greatest minds from Warner Music and their teams. We’ll also delve deep into the experiences of artists and performers from some of the biggest bands from the North East including members from Sam Fender’s band, Lanterns on the Lake, and Little Comets, and we’ll hear from some of the leading management teams working across the UK.

We’ll end the day with a DJ workshop and showcase with networking opportunities.

Food and refreshments included during the lunch break.
