Simply put, Jeff Mills is one of the most important creative forces of the last half century.
Integral to the conceptual evolution of Techno music in the 80s and 90s, Mills has made a mark as a DJ, a live artist, a label impresario, a composer, a film maker, a fine artist and a sculptor, very often blurring the lines between many of the more disparate disciplines in his repertoire.

His ceaseless and cerebral approach to artistic expression and futurism places him amongst the most vital and unique creative voices working across multiple artforms today, and we are excited to be able to offer a rare and intimate opportunity to listen to his thoughts and musings on modern culture and its relation to society, as well as to create an opportunity to ask him direct questions.
The event will take place in the intimate 200 capacity of Newcastle College’s Performance and Technical Theatre at their Rye Hill Campus.
