£5000 Grant Available For Companies Taking on New Talent

The RAW Digital Talent Programme is set to enter it’s busiest period yet, which will see over 100 young people available for apprenticeships and entry level jobs in the region.

RAW Digital Training is working with DurhamWorks to deliver their successful programme to 16-24-year-olds from County Durham and giving them work-ready IT skills.

Expert training from industry leaders is given in short courses in the fields of games development, cyber security, website creation, and digital marketing as part of the programme.

Now many of them are ready to be placed into firms looking to recruit digital staff.

Businesses from Consett to Teesside can access the learners completely free, and benefit from being matched with appropriate candidates for their current and future needs.

RAW managing director Joanna Wake said: “We’re working with some phenomenal young people who are eager to get into employment and be earning, with some great success stories already.

We’re keen for the talent pool to be accessed by a wide range of employers, and the process could not be easier for businesses. Those companies looking for apprentices we will connect with an apprenticeship provider based on their individual needs, and matched with candidates for the role.

SME’s looking to take on entry level talent or graduates from our programme can apply for a grant of up-to £5000 too!

We have school leavers to uni graduates, working hard, hungry to get into a tech career, and be part of this fast growing, and exciting sector in the North East. We have candidates looking for everything from IT, and dev roles to marketing, admin and events.”
