New Digital Union Team Appointment

Digital Union are pleased to announce that Cal Kilpatrick now takes on the role as Community Manager in the team so expect to hear from him soon.

Cal started his career in Leeds whilst studying for a degree in Film.

He began working for Futuresound Music, handing out flyers before running club nights at iconic venue, The Cockpit. In addition to this he has worked in events management with both Beacons and Slam Dunk Festival, curated cinema programmes and managed stalls for EAT Festival. He runs the Ladders programme at Generator; helping others prepare for creative careers of their own and has recently started his new role in Community Engagement for Generator & Digital Union. An avid reader and music writer, he spends most of his time bemoaning the fact he’s supported Newcastle United for 20+ years…

‘After a year and a half of helping people prepare for their own creative careers through our Ladders course, learning so many new skills through Generator’s Digital Bootcamp as well as meeting so many people from all over the country at events, I’m excited to continue engaging with the Digital Union community as well as meeting new people as we branch out into new regions.

I’m even more excited to not be asking everyone for their signatures on forms anymore (although, admittedly, I will miss that a little bit).’ – Cal Kilpatrick

And as our team continues to grow, we will have another appointment announcement in the next few weeks so watch this space!
