Tastemaker blog THUMP described Brighton producer Aashton’s ‘Show Me’ as “pretty much the perfect house jam”, and they’ve got it pretty spot on.

Aashton, real name Dominic Ashton, was formerly part of the duo Aashton & Swift, but he’s now going it alone and brings forward this catchy house roller via his latest EP.

‘Show You’ epitomises the house and garage sound that is so popular right now thanks to chopped vocals, lush synths and funky percussion sections.

When he’s not producing house music, you can catch Aashton being the lead singer of the band Kinema, as well as producing them. It’s evident that he’s a man with many strings to his bow.

The ‘Show You’ EP is out now on the West London-based Loungin’ Recordings.
