ANTEROS

To say London based Anteros are unknown is an understatement, with their Facebook, Twitter and SoundCloud pages created less than a week ago, they are as new as they come. However, with one listen of their self-titled debut track  it’s clear that the three piece won’t be remaining anonymous for long.

Signed to independent London label Duly Noted Records, there is no sense that this is a band that will still need a few recordings to find their feet. They forgo the almost traditional recorded-on-a-phone first demo and instead have a fully furnished final article that drips of feel-good summer vibes.

A piano led intro reminiscent of Robert Plant’s ‘Rainbow’ accompanied with the enigmatic voice of the lead singer delightfully teases to the rock potential Anteros contain. A crashing of drums as the track continues to pick up tempo echoes that sentiment as the record builds to a euphoric climax which will undoubtedly be a crowd-pleasing inclusion into any set.
