Fierce Panda Sign Coquin Migale

Newcastle four-piece Coquin Migale have recently signed to the renowned indie label Fierce Panda Records, who’ll be releasing their forthcoming single ‘GRINDIE‘ on 6th May with another single and album to follow late Summer.

The band who have been supported by Generator caused an initial stir with their debut release ‘GOLD’ last year, gaining early support from NME and BBC Radio 1 leading to further releases and a management deal with End of the Trail Records who brought on board an agent and signed publishing with North East based Wipe Out Music.

Coquin Migale guitarist and singer Alex Soper said “Generator have been really supportive of us from the start through advice, showcase opportunities such as Evolution Emerging and playing at their Music Futures Conference along with shouting about the band through The Tipping Point and recommending our first single to Huw Stephens who has championed us ever since, We’re really appreciative of this support alongside our management’s which has helped us develop as an artist“.

Coquin Migale will be playing around the UK this spring including appearances at The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City and Stockton Calling on 26th March.
