Outstanding Attitude Awards

Attitude Is Everything, the charity dedicated to improving access to live music events for deaf and disabled customers, has announced the first Outstanding Attitude Awards.

The awards will recognise the music venues and festivals that best serve deaf and disabled music fans. The winners will be announced on 21st November, selected by a panel of industry professionals from more than 120 venues and festivals signed up to the charity’s Charter Of Best Practice, or those who intend to sign up in the next year.

CEO of AIE Suzanne Bull said: “Attitude Is Everything’s Charter Of Best Practice is designed to promote innovation and dismantle barriers to accessing live music”.

Bull continued: “We want to shine a light on the most creative, the most interesting and most envelope-pushing examples of access provision – and look forward to celebrating the best of the best in just over two month’s time”.
