Playlists.Net: Launch App

The Northern powerhouse of song curation, Playlists.net has launched an app aimed at making it easier for music fans to discover new music.

Available on iOS and Android the Playlist a Day app delivers what it says on the tin, one new playlist every day, all hand-picked by Playlist.net’s editorial team.

To utilise the Playlist a Day app, users need to be Spotify Premium subscribers. The Gen is especially impressed with the carefully curated playlist inspired by the character of Patrick Bateman in American Psycho.

Kieron Donoghue, founder and CEO of Playlists.net, said: “We have some incredible playlists that you won’t find anywhere else and the idea is to surprise and delight users of the Playlist a Day app with a unique and expertly curated playlist daily”.

Kieron continued, “No more will you have to sit in front of a screen wondering what to listen to, we help remove that decision in a fun and engaging way. All of the playlists are curated by humans too, no algorithms here just curators who know good music”.

Based in Gateshead, Playlists.net was acquired by Warner Music Group’s WEA in 2014.
