SAFE TO SWIM

Brighton Four piece Safe to Swim hit hard with ‘Forget life. Repeat’ an energetic slice of 90’s style heavy pop, brimming with witty lyrics, crashing guitars and catchy synth. This is an anthem that needs to be listened to.

As the title suggests there’s a self-deprecating tone but it’s far from depressing, the lyrics are to the point but they are countered perfectly by the electrifying mix of guitar, drum and synth. Despite the obvious 90’s influences there is also a startlingly fresh feeling to the song, its captivating in its youthful exuberance, imploring you to sing along.

‘Forget Life. Repeat’ is an accomplished debut single that builds and builds into a rousing conclusion, it demands repeated listening and each time the volume should go up! It’s obvious that Safe to Swim already know how to create a provoking anthem, expect to hear a lot more from them in the future.
