so say The Telegraph and well, they might be onto something. Glastonbury Emerging Talent winners, Bridie Jackson and The Arbour are a band of Newcastle-based folk influenced musicians and alongside producer Mick Ross, they’ve been working on developing an evocative, inimitable sound.

Single ‘We Talked Again’, from their second album ‘New Skin’ tows the line between force and somber softness. ‘Haunting’ is one of those adjectives that gets bandied about frivolously and liberally in music journalism but here no other word will do.
