Fast Lane: Top Ten Music Companies

Fast Company Magazine has revealed who it regards to be the ten most innovative companies in music in 2015, with the list including music analytics company Next Big Sound, Deezer, Spotify and Pledge Music.

Next Big Sound got their nod for their digestion of big data, providing clarity in the cluttered world of clicks, likes, streams, hits, mentions and perhaps even the occasional sale.

In addition, Beyoncé’s management company Parkwood were named as Number Two for the shock release strategy of Beyoncé last December, which resulted in over 600,000 sales in three days.

Other companies comprising the top ten include BOP.fm, Ticketfly, SFX and Third Man Records.
