It may well be November, and you may well be overcome with the bittersweetness that comes with that first annual sighting of the Coca Cola advert, but that won’t stop J Tropic living up to his name with his latest offering, ‘Who U Are‘.

The Brighton-producer’s newest track laces a strong vocal from an as-yet unknown female singer with an equally forceful, synth-laden beat, brimming with mellow, tropical-sounding melodies and chopped and screwed backing vocals.  J Tropic may only have three tracks in his public back catalogue, but his shimmering brand of House/Electronica is already hotly tipped to join the likes of SBTRKT and Disclosure at the top of the UK’s EDM scene.
