And oh boy is she doing it in style. Forthcoming single Hide & Seek comes across like Santigold, set to Jean Michel Jarre, with its pulsating beats playing wonderfully against flitting, sprawling synths.

After she’s lulled you in with her alluring vocals, the track bursts open into a luscious slab of future-pop, packed full of hooks bigger than a Sir Alex Ferguson trophy cabinet.

Kenzine’s commanding vocals dominate throughout, flirting between sultry and forceful, as sweeping strings continue to battle with lively electro beats and handclaps. It all combines to create a mesmerizing, confident, and remarkably slick debut from the 19 year old. Well worth seeking.
