KING TV

A catchy melody and a lo-fi sound are the key elements of King TV’s ‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’, a track off of their latest EP, ‘Play On Forever’. If you’re a 90s indie fiend looking for a fix, King TV is for you.

Tinny instrumentals plod along before building into an anthemic chorus, all overlaid with nasal pop-punk vocal stylings.

This track is an enjoyable one embedded in an enjoyable EP laden with heavy influence from Pavement and Dinosaur Jr.  

I’ll put it this way: if this song had come out 15 years ago, it would have been played at the Bronze on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
