PRIDES

The ever gazing eye of Tipping Point Towers now falls upon Glasgow, with electro-pop trio Prides taking centre stage. Already endorsed by the effervescently popular CHVRCHES, Prides are the reincarnation of Midnight Lion, and the sense of a growth in maturity and confidence is immediately apparent. With striking sensations of the likes of Passion Pit and M83, the band’s debut track has already been picked up by swathes of the blogosphere and heralded as one of the finest new tracks of 2013.

As with so many bands that we feature, there is little currently known about Prides and their plans moving forward. Their facebook page reveals live dates at Stag and Dagger Festival in Glasgow, and that the ever green Neon Gold Records had the exclusive free download of ‘Out Of The Blue’, perhaps leading to possible future releases? Who knows, however all that is important at this stage is that Prides make it into your summer play list and that you absorb them into your min in each and ever way that you can.
