RAHEEM BAKARE

After the release of his debut EP, ‘AWOL’, Raheem Bakare releases ‘Portrait Of Love’ with accompanying visuals.  The Hackney-native has the kind of beautifully tender vocal that begs comparison to The Weeknd, but places it in a much more uplifting setting.

It’s hard to summarise ‘Portrait Of Love’ better than Bakare himself, who says that his sound “stems from Hip Hop and R & B, but carries neo influences of Electronic, Experimental and Indie”.  All these influences seem to combine to create pretty much the perfect Pop song in ‘Portrait Of Love’, which you can download for free along with the rest of the ‘AWOL’ EP
