PREMIERE – REMI MILES

Well, what a way to start the week: this Tipping Point video exclusive is very exciting indeed. Introducing Remi Miles, a new Virginia born but now Brighton-based artist, and his new single ‘I Want You’, which is available to download from today. Raised on a diet of Fela Kuti, Dylan and Marvin Gaye, Remi manages to conjure up a funk-tinged whirl of absolutely irresistible melody on this single. From it’s Beat It-reminiscent bass line, through to the grandeur of the colourful chorus, ‘I Want You’ stands up tall and proud as punch. It’s Flyte with the soul dialed to eleven; it’s Duran Duran but, you know, utterly ace. Check out the video below.
