One listen to Robyn Sherwell’s ‘Low’ will have you flashing-forward to a future of Disclosure features and Flume remixes. It is a streamlined piece of soulful trip-hop that takes a hard line on clutter. A slow and heartfelt song, ‘Low’ comprises of processed, polished percussion, minimal synth and Sherwell’s R&B style delivery.

The track is intelligently produced. The drums are atmospheric and the sparse nature of the arrangement gives a feeling of abundant space and time which Sherwell’s vocals gracefully fill before an outro which is right on the money. Exciting new stuff and I’d love to hear more.
