S-X
S-X will always be known for making the grime anthem ‘Woo Riddim’, which is still a tune to this day.
His new track ‘Voodoo’ features the vocal talents of Gia, and seems to be his attempt at making something that’s a little more radio friendly.
It seems to have worked, because the track has already been played on BBC Radio 1. ‘Voodoo’ has a strong vocal element, but remains true to S-X’s roots as it packs the same bass weight pressure that can be found on ‘Woo Riddim’.
There are elements of trap percussion in there too, and synths that make ‘Voodoo’ sound like something that Hudson Mohawke might’ve once done.
