Ultraviolet from self professed rock and roll four piece The Amazons is anthemic, catchy and full of youthful energy.

Frontman Matt Thomson’s powerful voice and subtle accent gives them a unique sound when built upon the strong backbone of the punchy drums and bass. The guitars soar around the song; making for an epic track which is impressive for relatively new band. This point is particularly apparent when it comes to the chorus where the band effortlessly make such a huge sound.

The Amazons have also been recognised by the likes of big-shot radio tastemakers Zane Lowe and Huw Stephens. They’re also known to put on a incredible live show. So if melodic rock with big choruses is your thing, this is a band you don’t want to miss out on.
