THE VAN T’S

Judging from ‘Fun Garçon’, 2015 is going to be a good year for Glaswegian twins Chloe and Hannah Van Thompson, aka The Van T’s.

The song gets underway with overdrive-laden guitar thrashing out chords with energetic drums and a cleaner guitar sound quickly jumping in.

The vocals on top harmonise well together with a reverb and flange, at times sounding a little like Karen-O.

The whole track presents a kind of surf rock feel but the heaviness of it all leads to a revival surf punk sound that plays out very well throughout the whole song.
